home today, tomorrow or was it yesterday?

Got home lunchtime yesterday……or it could have been tomorrow or last night…………going through all the different time zones has confused the hell out of me………..left new zealand 26/7 @10pm……….landed in LA on 26/7 @2pm(back in time)…………then only flew for 10 hours and jumped forward in time to 11am on 27th……..what the hell is all that about!!!!and now its 3am in UK and I can’t sleep….which is confusing the hell out of the dog………she thinks its walkies time!!!
have uploaded photos for those of you who have asked……..Bridget and Yvonne!!……..note bridget, as well as the millions of real sheep they have in NZ, there are plenty models…those pictures are for you!!
Yvonne wanted photos of kerry………..ah aren’t they sweet!!!!!!!
The scenery was incredible and we were told its more amazing in the south island, we ran out of time!!
answer to question about whose feet are these that do not reach the ground(see photos)………YVONNE
anyway spos better go and try to sleep………….why is it so dark my body thinks it is the middle of the afternoon.

where does the time go?

Well, our 3 weeks is up tomorrow……..it has gonso fast! although I have missed my babies and can’t wait to see them.

We have been looking at millions of houses and pieces of land in the past few days……have narrowed it down, but not telling anyone what we have decideed until it happens…….the girls will like it though…………and if its meant to be it will be,

the weather has been great, rain seems to come mostly at night leaving the days like warm spring or early autumn days…….colder at night, but I get more cuddles that way!

well, will load photos when I get back on wednesday, looking forward to the heat wave supposed to be on its way.

see you all soon.

all of you please pray for a very nice man, one of our Consultants who is fighting for his life….please get well Simon x

whistlestop tour of North Island

been away for 5 days down to napier, Lake Taupo, Wellington and cambridge.
Lovely blue skies, lots of sun……amazing trees and waterside areas.

see you all soonx

Night in the city

For those of you asking for photo’s(Bridget!) I can’t upload them from here, will do that when I get home….(miss you too x)
Did not go up North yet, decided to stay night in the city……I love it……..like Brighton in busyness but like the best bits of London for style and things to do……….and there are beaches. Found a house in Shelley Beach Road(which for those of you who know Yvonnes real name will understand why it would be funny if I got that house!!- its Shelley for those of you who did not know!!)
anyway this house is 10 minute walk to beach one way and 20 minute walk into cenre of city the other way. It has a park to walk the dog, loads of things for Grace to do and it is in a fantastic area……….it needs doing up but heh we have never been averse to a challenge…(poor Jeff, I hear you say Kev!!..he would love it!!)Cant seem to find outhow much it is but it would be ideal……anyway going to look at more beach properties today………….sun is up again, I can’t believe this weather for the middle of winter.
We went up sky tower…..you have to do the touristy things……..no way in hell were you getting me to jump off(you can do that, I was not thinking of ending it all) nor was I standing on the glass floor bits, but if I looked out at the horizon it was ok………..really cool to see all round the city……….could not believe how few cars were on the roads considering it was 6 30 in the evening….if this is busy then I can cope with it……Kiwi’s stop whinging about traffice.its busier in Horley!!……….we then stayed on 26th floor of a cool hotel again view was great as long as I did not look down.
Thought shops might be a bit hicky out here, but they had everything that we have back home and I even got a bargain pair of shoes for a tenner………I sussed out the Primark shops!!
Anyway, gotta get ready…………am missing everyone so much though, especially in light of all the problems……keep safe everyone xx

in new zealand

well, arrived here safe but shaken. left on day of bombs in london and consdering my fear of flying since 9/11, I am surprised I managed to get on the plane. When we landed in LA, after a fair bit of turbulance, it was only the throught of Teresa and Yvonne being mad that made me get back on the plane, I seriously considered having a 3 week holiday in sunny LA.driving up the Pacific Coast Highway up to san fransisco…..not that I had it planned!!

But heh, I was btave and got back on the plane…..coming in to Auckland they delayed breakfast due to more turbulance, by the time I got breakfast I was too s**t scared to eat it!!

seeing Tess was like there was not an 18 year gap, we just chatted like old friends, we are both fatter and greyer but otherwise the same.

First 2 days were sunny, like september weather, cold in morning but teashirts during day, considering this was the equivalent of january at home I was impressed. We went to an open home , house was lovely, right on waterfront. Went to see workplace, its a hospital, nothing exciting.

Today weather raining and cold, we borrowed Yvonnes car and drove round a bit………..but definately getting homesick for kids!!

Hope all well at home, hope Mel looking after Grace and dog.

going to northlands tomorrow , will stop night in hotel at Bay of Islands, looking forward to that.

Well it is an historic day, but not the same as live aid, maybe coz I was 20 years younger andit was a much sunnier and warm day……..however I totally back the sentiment behind it.
had some time with my girls before going over to Josie and Martyns, good to have some time with old friends, gonna miss them when I go to NZ!
Yvonne came in and thats weird coz she links with Tess through Kerry and josie links with Tess due to the sister thing!!and me I am friends with them all………..can’t believe I am gonna see tess next week.
hope you all like the photos.
